The Department of Silicate Technology has a mission to disseminate knowledge
in the filed of Materials Science and Engineering developing fundamental
understanding of the nature of inorganic matter; to create possibilities for
the students and young researchers for their appearance in the industry,
scientific centres and laboratories and government organizations.

The activities to spread excellence to be in accordance with the European
