Research activity

The University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy takes active part in all international European research programs as 5TH Frame program.

The University staff works on ecology problems, on creating of new materials and technologies, on specialized software, etc. in active cooperation with partners from Greece, Spain, Slovakia, France, etc.

The research group working on the new software package ASPECT received 3rd award at Plovdiv Fair 2002.

Members of University staff are involved as experts on European Union projects.

Proposals for participation in 6TH Frame program are preparing.
